Mr Spock

Born on Vulcan in 2230.

When Sarek (Spocks Father) tried to pressure him into following a traditional Vulcan life Spock defied his Father and followed his own path. In doing so he opened a door for many Vulcan's that followed in years to come.

After graduating from the academy in 2252 Spock is assigned to the USS Enterprise NCC 1701. His position is Science Officer under Captain Pike.

In 2264 he is promoted to the position of First Officer when Captain Kirk takes command of the Enterprise. Seemingly against the rules of logic Spock develops an intense and enduring friendship with his new Captain.

In 2267 Spock is promoted once again this time to the rank of Commander.

2 years later in 2270 he retires from Starfleet and returns to his home planet of Vulcan with the intention of undergoing the Kolinahr ritual. Designed to purge Vulcan's of any vestigial emotions. But in 2271 he returns to Starfleet and the Enterprise after sensing a presence calling to him from space. He believes this to be the VGer entity. Which the Enterprise is being sent to investigate. He takes up the post of Science Officer. Once the VGer crisis is over Spock decides to remain in Starfleet and in 2277 he is promoted once again this time to the rank of Captain and is assigned to be an instructor at the Academy. With this post comes the Captaincy of the Enterprise, which is now and Academy training vessel

In 2285 Spock turns the command of the Enterprise over to Kirk when a former enemy, Khan hijacks the USS Reliant and steals the Genesis device. During the ensuing battle Spock sacrifices his life in order to save the Enterprise and her crew. Or as he puts it with his dyeing breath:

"The good of the many out way the good of the few".

When his body if laid to rest on the newly formed Genesis planet some how the Genesis effect, ressurects his body. But with an empty mind. But when Spock was on the Enterprise shorty before he died he mind Melded with Dr McCoy and left his Katra inserted inside of McCoy subconscious. And through an ancient Vulcan ritual his mind is returned to his body.

Spock chooses to face charges with his crewmates after they steal the Enterprise and rescue his body from the Genesis planet. But they are exonerated after they save the Earth by travelling back in time and returning with two hump back whales.

In the 2290's Spock switches his talents to diplomacy and opens negotiations with the Klingons after their home planets atmosphere is polluted when their key energy facility, Praxus is destroyed.

In 2368 Spock is believed to have defected to the Romulans when he is sighted on Romulas.

In fact he is there to pave the way for a re-unification of the Vulcan and Romulan people. On Romulas there is an underground movement that is embracing the logical ways of the Vulcan people. But the attempt fails when one of Spocks contacts turns out to be spy.
Spock refuses to give up on the Romulans and stays with the movement in the hope that one day he will succeed!
